A colleague recommended me to come to Il Borgo and it was a great discovery. Informal place, excellent meat and truly affordable prices. We had dinner on a Monday evening in December and we were offered both the à la carte menu and the 12 Euro menu (first course, second course, side dish, wine, water and coffee!). Excellent starter to share.

Excellent dishes at a really low price for the quality. Menu with first course, second course, side dish, water, wine and coffee for 12 euros, with 4 choices for the first course and many for the second course. Absolutely recommended.

Nice tavern where you can eat very well! The cured meats and cheeses are excellent and are the highlight; without forgetting the meats, all excellent. Very varied menu, with traditional dishes and some more particular ones. Definitely worth trying. The prices are really excellent. The environment is very comfortable, particularly if there are few people, but this rarely happens.

Fantastic! My wife & I had dinner (again) in this restaurant, really well furnished, rustic with a touch of modernity, elegant. (comfortable chairs) Typical cuisine, very good, generous portions, (no you won't go hungry, you'll leave satisfied!) well presented, allergens well described, there are several alternatives, not overwhelming but they are there and they are good. Clean, well-kept place, polite, friendly and efficient staff. Normal prices, good value for money, the meat is truly fantastic! It melts in your mouth! But also the cold cuts! Etc...Highly recommended restaurant, once you've tried it...you'll come back! Enjoy your meal.

Family lunch to celebrate a birthday, the place is rustic but welcoming, perhaps a little dark.... we had chosen the autumn menu, starting with classic appetizers and an octopus salad. Two first courses with mushroom risotto (not exceptional) and delicious tortelli. Second course with chocolate braised meat with potatoes and fruit cake. House wine both white and red. Ah, we also asked for an off-menu (2 portions) with snails served with vegetables. The waiters were kind and quick... I would say it was an excellent Sunday with friends.

Restaurant with a family atmosphere.Polite staff and the chef knows what he is dealing with and what he is cooking.Excellent meats, with the added bonus of the aging.After eating an excellent rubia fiorentina, on our way back we ate an excellent cut of picanha and a fiorentina. The aging is really well taken care of, zero blood lost from the meat and top softness.Also excellent is the tasting of local salami as an appetizer and the dessertAn additional touch is definitely the bill.
